Dock Pipe Auger

Whenever there is a need for a bit of extra stability or permanence, a pipe support with this Dock Auger is very handy. This steel auger secures to a 1-1/2″ schedule 40 galvanized pipe and anchors the pipe into the lake bottom. It operates like a screw. When you rotate the auger clockwise, it drives the dock post into the lake or river bottom, and when it rotates counter clockwise, the pipe comes out. Best for rivers with current, or with floating dock applications to anchor the dock. Add a pipe support to any dock for peace of mind, knowing that the dock is secure in choppy water, high winds, or deep water. Includes set bolt.

Augered pipes are recommended to be screwed into the lake bottom at least 12″ with room for the pipe to extend above the dock at least 6″. Pipe augers rotate by hand, then secure with several turns with a pipe wrench.
