The Boat Dock Float fastens to the Jack Docks Low Profile or Truss frames for a superior floating dock kit.  These rectangular floats attach to the bottom of your aluminum frame with simple instructions. No more constant dock adjustments when water fluctuates. No more hauling heavy floating docks in every season – let the water do the work. Floating Docks are great structures for deep water or highly fluctuating water depths. Build your own floating dock or use the boat dock float with Jack Docks Frames.

Build your own Floating Dock

Floating boat docks can be made of treated lumber, steel, or aluminum. Typically the DIY enthusiast will build a solid and affordable dock with treated lumber. You can mount these floats under a custom frame with our universal flange instead of messing around with drums or awkward shaped flotation devices. Run a carriage bolt through your framing into the flange on the float. Make sure to account for the weight of the dock and the float capacity of each float with your order count – these floating docks get rather heavy.

Jack Docks Frames

We make it easy for you. Order Low Profile Floating Dock Frames and you can add the float to the bottom with our Mounting hardware. You can also add floats to our truss frames. The universal flange on the boat dock float makes it simple, but hardware is not provided. Simply drill a hole in the truss frame and secure with a carriage bolt and washer. The recommendation is to use at least two rectangular dock floats every 8FT section of dock, or add more if desired. Design your own floating dock shape with these modular floats! Mounting hardware is not included with the float.
